Biosecurity & Health Protocols

To protect the health of our puppies and maintain strict kennel biosecurity, all personal pickups are conducted at pre‑designated meeting locations. These procedures are in place to safeguard the wellbeing of the puppies, the kennel, and all parties involved.

 

Deposit & Payment Terms

•          Deposits on puppies are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.

Placing a deposit removes the puppy from availability and secures both your puppy and your pick order until the scheduled pickup day.

Deposits are accepted via Cash App or PayPal only.

This amount is applied toward the final purchase price.

The remaining balance is due in CASH ONLY on the pre‑arranged pickup day listed above.

 

Failure to Pick Up / Breeder Cancellation

•          If the puppy becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances on the Breeder’s end, the Buyer’s deposit will be fully refunded.

•          If the Buyer fails to pick up the puppy on the scheduled pickup day listed above, the Buyer forfeits both the puppy and the deposit. No exceptions.

FINAL PURCHASE AGREEMENT
26‑Month Hip Guarantee
This Agreement is made between the Breeder and the Buyer for the purchase of the German Shepherd Dog described herein.

1. Deposits
As stated in the Puppy Deposit Contract, all deposits are non‑refundable and will be applied to the final purchase price of the puppy.

2. AKC Registration
•     The puppy is sold with FULL AKC Registration.
•     The Breeder has provided all necessary paperwork for registration.
•     The Buyer agrees to register the puppy with AKC within 30 days of the date of this contract.
•     Failure to register within 30 days renders the health guarantee NULL & VOID.

3. Initial Veterinary Examination
•     The Buyer must have the puppy examined by a Licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.
•     Failure to complete this exam voids the health guarantee.

4. Health at Time of Sale
•     The Breeder deems the puppy to be in good health to the best of their knowledge.
•     The puppy has received age‑appropriate vaccinations and deworming.
•     The Breeder has provided all health records and AKC paperwork to the Buyer.

5. 26‑Month Hip Guarantee
•     The Breeder guarantees the puppy’s hips for 26 months.
•     This allows OFA hip x‑rays to be completed after the dog turns 24 months, with a 2‑month window for submission.
•     OFA hip exams must be performed under sedation.
•     X‑rays must be submitted to OFA and receive a failing score (moderate to severe hip dysplasia in BOTH hips) to qualify for a replacement puppy.
Replacement Terms
•     The Breeder does not require the dog to be returned.
•     The Buyer will receive a replacement puppy of equal value.
•     If the replacement puppy is of higher value, the Buyer is responsible for the price difference.
•     Buyer agrees to spay or neuter the dog in the event of a failed OFA exam.
Spay/Neuter Timing
•     If the Buyer chooses to spay/neuter, the Breeder recommends waiting until at least 14 months of age.
•     If the procedure is done before 14 months, the hip and health guarantee becomes NULL & VOID.

6. Conditions Not Covered
The guarantee does not cover:
•     Uneven bite
•     Undescended testicles
•     Umbilical hernias
•     Conditions caused by environmental factors, including but not limited to:
Coccidia, Kennel Cough, Cancer, Demodectic Mange, Scabies, growths, allergies, autoimmune disorders
•     Parvo or any disease preventable by routine vaccination
•     Abuse, neglect, or improper socialization
The Buyer agrees to provide:
•     Adequate shelter
•     Clean water
•     High‑quality food
•     Daily activity and bonding
•     Routine veterinary care

7. Breeding Restrictions
Buyer agrees:
•     Never to breed this dog with a White German Shepherd or an American‑line German Shepherd.
•     To complete all appropriate health testing prior to any breeding.

8. Sales Are Final
•     All sales and deposits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
•     The Seller does not guarantee size, appearance, temperament, or personality once the puppy leaves the premises.
•     Buyer acknowledges they have researched the German Shepherd breed and its associated health considerations.

9. Veterinary Expenses
The Seller is not responsible for any veterinary bills incurred by the Buyer at any time.

10. Disputes
•     Both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before any lawsuit is filed.
•     If legal action is taken, the Buyer is responsible for all court costs, attorney fees, and travel expenses incurred by the Seller.
•     Any lawsuit must be filed in Henderson County, Texas.
•     No claim may exceed the original purchase price of the puppy. No exceptions.

11. Welfare Check & Rehoming Requirement
The Buyer agrees to maintain open communication with the Breeder regarding the puppy’s welfare during the first year of ownership. If the Breeder contacts the Buyer with reasonable welfare‑related questions or concerns, the Buyer agrees to respond in a timely and cooperative manner.
The Buyer further agrees that no puppy or adult dog from this breeding program may not be rehomed, surrendered, sold, or transferred without first contacting the Breeder. The Breeder must be given the first opportunity to take the dog back or assist in placement. This requirement applies for the lifetime of the dog.

12. Entire Agreement
No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made unless specifically stated in this contract.
